For the eighth consecutive year, Alston & Bird has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the top employers in Los Angeles.
In the publication’s 2020 survey of the “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles,” the firm ranks No. 3 among the largest companies (more than 250 employees) identified as Los Angeles’ elite employers and is one of only two law firms represented in this category.
As highlighted in the survey: “Alston & Bird is a full-service, leading law firm whose unique culture and dedication to client service and teamwork have been at the foundation of the firm for over a century. The firm develops, assembles, and nurtures the strongest and broadest array of legal talent and expertise necessary to meet clients’ needs in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment while also fostering a strong work-life balance for employees.”
“Our people are what make us a best place to work year after year,” said Thomas Wingard, partner in charge of Alston & Bird’s Los Angeles office. “If ever there was a time for our lawyers and staff to shine and prove what a truly exceptional team they are, it was this year amid the change and upheaval caused by the coronavirus. It was incredible to see how everyone banded together while working remotely to serve our clients and support one another without missing a beat.”
Now in its 14th year, the best places to work survey is conducted by the Los Angeles Business Journal in partnership with Best Companies Group. The survey comprises two parts: an employer questionnaire on company policies, practices, benefits, and demographics, and an employee evaluation of workplace experience and company culture.
