Yuri Mikulka, partner in Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group, and Jeff Rosenfeld, partner in the firm’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group, have been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal in its 2019 “LA500” list of the most influential people in Los Angeles.
The LA500 recognizes local business and civic leaders, “focusing on the people, companies and transactions that have an outsized impact on the business community.”
As noted by the publication, Mikulka lends her intellectual property experience to companies in the “United States, Asia and Europe facing bet-the-company litigation or seeking to launch digital technology innovations.” She serves in a leadership capacity for various national legal organizations, including the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation, Federal Bar Association, and National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
Rosenfeld, who was also honored in the 2018 LA500, is highlighted for his practice in trial and appellate litigation, with an emphasis on class action and other complex commercial litigation. His experience includes class-action defense and high-stakes litigation in both state and federal court across a range of industries, including food and beverage, serving as co-chair of the firm’s practice focusing on that sector.
This is the fourth edition of the LA500, which is based on independent research and reporting by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
