Alston & Bird has captured the No. 2 spot in this year’s Los Angeles Business Journal’s survey of “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles.”
It is the sixth consecutive year that Alston & Bird has been recognized for its workplace excellence and outstanding corporate culture among Los Angeles’ largest companies and the fourth time that the firm has placed among the survey’s top-five honorees.
As noted by the Los Angeles Business Journal in introducing this year’s best places to work: “Each company profiled here has its own special methods of elevating morale and team spirit to new heights. But one thing that is common among all of them is a commitment to the concept that employees’ well being directly impacts a company’s well being—in the eyes of the public, its business partners, customers and shareholders.”
“Great culture makes for dedicated, engaged employees who are passionate about what they do,” said Thomas Wingard, partner-in-charge of Alston & Bird’s Los Angeles office. “Ours is a strong and unified culture that inspires everyone to do exceptional work for our clients and our community.”
Now in its 12th year, the survey is administered by Best Companies Group and is based on an analysis of employer and employee questionnaires covering eight core areas: leadership and planning, corporate culture and communications, role satisfaction, work environment, relationship with supervisor, training, development and resources, pay and benefits, and overall engagement.
