Jane Lucas Named a Top Lobbyist by The Hill

Alston & Bird is expanding its public policy and health care regulatory capabilities with the addition of Jane Lucas, former special assistant to the President for legislative affairs, who joins the firm as counsel in its Washington, D.C. office.

Alston & Bird has expanded its bipartisan health policy practice with the addition of Jonathan Jagoda, former senior vice president of the Federation of American Hospitals (FAH). Jonathan joins the firm as senior policy advisor in the Washington, D.C. office.

Alston & Bird has expanded its legislative and public policy capabilities with the addition of counsel Kristi Boswell, a former senior advisor to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) who also served in the White House and as the director of congressional relations for one of the country’s largest agricultural trade groups. Based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, she will advise agricultural and food clients on complex regulatory and legislative issues.

On Tuesday, the Senate will begin consideration on the nominations of April Perry to be an Illinois district judge and Jonathan Hawley and David Huitema to run the Office of Government Ethics. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has also filed cloture on Cathy Fung’s nomination to the U.S. Tax Court.
