Alston & Bird is pleased to announce that Nick Tsui, partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group, has been named a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow for 2024. The LCLD has also named Mia Falzarano, senior associate in the firm’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group, and Tiffany Li Qu, associate in the firm’s State & Local Tax Group, members of the 2024 class of Pathfinders.
The LCLD Fellows program offers high-potential, mid-career attorneys from diverse backgrounds at LCLD Member organizations with professional and personal development opportunities as well as leadership training and relationship-building resources.
The Pathfinder Program trains high-performing, early-career attorneys in critical professional development strategies. It includes intensive training, experiential learning, and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows in small group gatherings.
Nick, based in firm’s Atlanta office, focuses his practice on patents and patent litigation in the district courts, ITC, and PTAB related to technologies including telecommunications, circuit design, software, mobile applications, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.
Based in the firm’s Dallas office, Mia focuses her practice on trial work, addressing matters on merits before jurors, judges, and arbitrators. She works primarily with technology-based companies, handling complex disputes including class action defense, issues of data privacy and cybersecurity, health care matters, and trade secret misappropriation.
Based in the firm’s Atlanta office, Tiffany focuses her practice on complex state and local taxation, administrative proceedings, audits, litigation, and unclaimed property matters.
The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity is an organization of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable legal profession. Alston & Bird has been a member of the LCLD since the organization’s founding in 2009.
