Mia Falzarano focuses her practice on trial work, addressing matters on merits before jurors, judges, and arbitrators. She works primarily with technology-based companies, handling complex disputes including class action defense, issues of data privacy and cybersecurity, health care matters, and trade secret misappropriation. She leverages her considerable arbitration and trial experience to support her clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial mediation to post-trial appeals. Mia is recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® “Ones to Watch.”
Mia has first- and second-chaired federal and state court trials, taking an active role at all stages, including preparing voir dire, leading pre-trial conferences, presenting opening statements, directing and cross-examining witnesses, arguing key evidentiary matters, and delivering closing arguments.
While practicing law, Mia earned a master’s degree in legal and forensic psychology, focusing her coursework on the impact of various psychological principles during both jury selection and trial presentation.
Mia is an advocate for historically underrepresented causes and groups. She is equally committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in her practice and pro bono endeavors, and co-chairs the firm’s Dallas Women’s Initiative.
Mia received her J.D., cum laude, from Wake Forest University, where she served as moot court and trial team captain, leading each team to multiple regional and national victories. Upon graduation, she was elected to Order of the Coif and Order of Barristers.
