Alston & Bird received the All-Star Firm of the Year Award from the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation (AVLF) during a ceremony at the Fox Theatre on April 19.
Accepting the award on the firm’s behalf were partner Elizabeth Helmer, senior associate Jay Repko, and associate Rachel Leff, attorneys in the firm’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group, and Cheryl Naja, director of Pro Bono and Community Service. Elizabeth serves on AVLF’s board of directors and Jay serves on the organization’s leadership counsel.
The firm was recognized for its leadership within AVLF and for participating in the Saturday Lawyers Program as well as the Standing with Our Neighbors roject. In addition, Alston & Bird won the 2022 AVLF Cup, a fundraising and volunteering competition between Atlanta’s top law firms and corporations that helps low-income Atlantans gain access to justice.
