Liz Broadway Brown, partner in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group, has been awarded “Justice for All” honors by Rolling Out as part of the publication’s inaugural awards program celebrating the achievements of Atlanta attorneys, judges, entrepreneurs, and civic leaders.
Recognized for her professional excellence and leadership as a social change agent, Brown was profiled in an interview with Rolling Out as a “mother and wife who is also a powerful litigation attorney practicing law on the defense of high-stakes class action cases and privacy litigation matters in the health care, technology and financial services industries.”
Among her many professional accomplishments, Brown is the president of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA). She is also a member of the National Bar Association, the National Association of Women Lawyers, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Gate City Bar Association.
Outside the legal community, Brown serves as a volunteer mentor for GABWA’s Sister 2 Sister Program, a volunteer attorney for Georgia’s Truancy Intervention Project, and a volunteer in the children’s ministry at Passion City Church in Atlanta.
Founded in 1998, Rolling Out is a national magazine published by Steed Media Group, an Atlanta-based entertainment and multimedia company.
