Jesse Jauregui, partner in Alston & Bird’s Labor & Employment Group, has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the “Most Influential Minority Attorneys” for 2018.
The publication highlighted Jauregui’s recent settlement and final approval of a statewide wage and hour class action involving an international money transfer entity that employs a largely Spanish-speaking workforce in California. He was also noted for his role as co-trial counsel in a high-stakes trade secret/non-compete dispute in federal court involving two international manufacturing companies in which the team prevailed on a motion for summary judgment.
Jauregui focuses his practice on employment law and civil litigation and has used his bilingual abilities to represent clients in a variety of situations. In addition to his legal work, he devotes significant time to the Los Angeles community through his work with the Mexican American Bar Foundation and the California Minority Counsel Program. He also co-chairs Alston & Bird’s California Diversity Committee and is a mentor to younger lawyers in the firm.
