Shaleen Patel is an associate with Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group. Before joining the firm, Shaleen was an associate at a national litigation firm. His representative experience includes complex intellectual property litigation including patent, trademark, copyright, and university licensing.

Shaleen received his J.D., cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School, where he served as an editor of the Journal of International and Comparative Law and served as captain of the Barristers Trial Team on the National Trial Competition for which he was awarded the Arthur A. May award for excellence in trial advocacy. He received his B.S., magna cum laude, in chemical engineering from Rutgers University with an emphasis on biochemical engineering and served as captain of the Rutgers Mock Trial Team.
