Alston & Bird successfully defended Nokia of America Corporation against allegations that its router products infringed three patents owned by Correct Transmission. On November 5, an Eastern District of Texas jury cleared Nokia of all claims of infringement, finding that all three asserted patents were not infringed. After a brief deliberation, the verdict secured a complete victory for Nokia.

Alston & Bird represented the international auction house Christie’s in its acquisition of Gooding & Company, a leading international auction house in the classic-car market. The transaction is expected to be completed before the end of 2024.
