• Counseled multiple asset managers in becoming SEC-registered investment advisers.
• Assisted a U.S. fund manager in launching their flagship fund, followed by multiple subsequent closings. 
• Represented a fund manager in the formation, launch, and closing of successive multistrategy fund structures.
• Assisted in counseling a registered investment adviser through an SEC exam process. Advised hedge fund client in the creation of hybrid-model vehicles and similar sidecar vehicles. 
• Advised a client in structuring and launching a multivehicle evergreen fund structure. 

Dustin Littrell is counsel in the Investment Funds Group. Dustin focuses his practice on the structuring, formation, and ongoing operations of a variety of domestic and offshore private investment fund vehicles, including credit funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, hedge funds, and other alternative asset and hybrid funds.

He counsels his clients throughout the life cycle of their businesses as they navigate the commercial and regulatory challenges present in the investment management industry, both domestically and abroad, including with respect to fund and tax structures, regulatory compliance, foreign private offering exemptions, ERISA compliance, and privacy issues.
