Evan Collier is a policy advisor in Alston & Bird’s Legislative & Public Policy Group. Evan helps clients achieve their public policy goals and assists in developing and implementing their legislative and regulatory strategy by providing detailed policy analysis and tracking and monitoring federal legislative matters. Evan also supports the firm’s Government Ethics & Compliance practice, which advises corporate and political committee clients on federal and state election law and lobbying requirements.

Before joining the firm, Evan worked as a government affairs associate for an association management firm, representing the legislative priorities of multiple trade associations and professional societies. He also worked with an international aid organization in Erbil, Iraq, where he produced media and communications content, supported the development of grant proposals and humanitarian programs, and wrote reports on Iraqi relief efforts. Evan also worked as a legislative correspondent and staff assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives, overseeing financial services, insurance, and congressional ethics.
