Megan Byrd focuses her practice on handling commercial litigation matters. Before joining the firm, Megan served as a law clerk to the Hon. Robert J. Conrad, Jr. of the Western District of North Carolina and to the Hon. Phil Berger, Jr. of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
During law school, Megan served as chief articles and notes editor of the First Amendment Law Review and as a member of the Holderness Moot Court Intellectual Property team. She earned her J.D., with honors, from The University of North Carolina School of Law. Megan earned a B.S, summa cum laude, from North Carolina State University, where she was awarded the Mathews Medal, the university’s highest non-academic distinction for significant contributions and service to the university.
