Jordan Edwards, partner in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group, and Courtney Quirós, partner in Alston & Bird’s Securities Litigation Group, have been named among Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “40 Under 40” Class of 2025. This recognition honors Atlanta’s best and brightest young professionals and emerging leaders for their professional achievements, leadership, and community contributions.
Jordan focuses her practice on helping clients navigate complex commercial disputes and sensitive government and internal investigations. She was recognized in the 2023 and 2024 editions of Chambers USA as an “Associate to Watch” in Georgia in Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations, and she has also been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for her work in commercial litigation, health care law, and white-collar criminal defense. She serves on the board of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Litigation Section and is a LEAD Atlanta graduate.
Courtney focuses her practice on securities fraud class actions, shareholder derivative suits, internal corporate investigations, and other complex commercial litigation. She has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for her work in securities litigation. Her pro bono work involves immigration issues, social justice, and civil liberties. Her writings on shareholder issues and federal regulations have also been published in numerous outlets, including Bloomberg Law, National Law Journal, and Review of Securities & Commodities Regulation.
