Alston & Bird defended ASUS against claims that its computer products infringed three patents owned by Lenovo. In a victory for ASUS, the International Trade Commission on February 5 determined that all asserted claim in the three patents asserted by Lenovo were not infringed, invalid or both.
Representing ASUS was an Alston & Bird team led by partners Ross Barton, Brady Cox, Mike Newton, Scott Stevens, and Adam Swain; senior associates Lauren Griffin and Nic Marais; associate Carter Babaz; paralegals Stacy Gunder and Andy Wilber; and case clerk Sam Leitstein (Intellectual Property Litigation).
