Carter Babaz is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Litigation Group. Before law school, Carter worked in the finance consulting industry and was also an intern for a senator and two congressmen representing the state of Georgia at the U.S. Capitol.
Carter earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi, graduating first in her class. While there, she served as the executive notes and comments editor for the Mississippi Law Journal, served on the Mississippi Moot Court Board, and was competitively selected as a Business Law Fellow. Carter graduated from the University of Georgia, cum laude, with a bachelor of business administration in finance and international business.
