Alston & Bird announces the election of 20 lawyers to its partnership, effective January 1, 2025. The new partners span seven offices and seven practice groups.

Elected to Alston & Bird’s partnership are:
- Lindsey Arthur (Los Angeles) as partner in our Finance Group, where she represents sponsors, corporate borrowers, and lenders in complex debt financings, including term and revolving loan facilities, secured and unsecured notes issuances, asset-based lines of credit, and leveraged acquisitions.
- Greg Berlin (Los Angeles) as partner in our Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources Group. He represents companies in the energy, manufacturing, real estate, and food and beverage industries in environmental and land use matters, including compliance counseling, litigation, and enforcement defense.
- Jennifer Bonneville (Los Angeles) as partner in our Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources Group. She works with energy companies, manufacturers of specialty consumer and automotive products, industrial and commodity chemicals, pesticides, and medical devices to defend a diverse array of product and premise-based suits in cases involving wrongful death, property damage, personal injury, and medical monitoring claims.
- Chris Borchert (New York) as partner in our Litigation & Trial Practice Group, where he focuses his practice on high-stakes commercial litigation and white-collar matters. He represents clients in the financial services, health care, private equity, pharmaceutical, and technology industries, particularly in corporate and commercial disputes; securities, shareholder, and derivative litigation; corporate control and M&A litigation; and real estate litigation.
- Alex Clamon (Los Angeles) as partner in our Finance Group. He represents corporate borrowers, sponsors, banks, and private credit institutions in complex lending transactions, including leveraged buyouts and acquisition financing, investment-grade corporate debt, and distressed debt / workout transactions. His experience includes secured and unsecured lending structures across a wide variety of industries.
- Phil Ducker (San Francisco) as partner in our Intellectual Property Litigation Group. He focuses his practice on litigation, strategic counseling, technology licensing, and advising clients on intellectual property acquisitions and divestitures. He has litigated disputes involving patents, trade secrets, and trademarks in cases spanning technological fields. He has also represented clients in intellectual property disputes in numerous district courts and before the International Trade Commission and Federal Circuit.
- Jordan Webber Edwards (Atlanta) as partner in our Litigation & Trial Practice Group, where she represents Fortune 500 and other companies across a wide array of industries in complex, high-profile litigation throughout the country. She defends clients before federal and state trial and appellate courts and arbitration panels in cases involving health care, RICO, ERISA, antitrust, the False Claims Act, and numerous state consumer-fraud laws, and she also represents companies and executives in sensitive government and internal investigations.
- Ravi Fernando (Charlotte) as partner in our Intellectual Property Litigation Group. He focuses his practice on litigation of complex intellectual property disputes before the International Trade Commission, district courts, and Patent Trial and Appeal Board, with a particular emphasis on patent cases dealing with telecommunications, computer software, and mechanical devices.
- Lisa Garcia (Los Angeles) as partner in our Litigation & Trial Practice Group, where she represents clients in complex business litigation, internal corporate investigations, contract disputes, and franchise litigation. She has litigated a wide variety of disputes in state and federal courts, including matters involving general business concerns, contract disputes, unfair competition and false advertising, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, unfair debt collection issues, data privacy, commercial leasing disputes, and franchise matters. She also handles all types of employment cases.
- Jamie George (Atlanta) as partner in our Litigation & Trial Practice Group. He focuses his practice on international arbitration and complex commercial litigation, representing clients in a broad array of industries, including the technology, telecommunications, automotive, and food & beverage fields.
- Stefanie Kavanagh (Washington, D.C.) as partner in our Federal & International Tax Group, where she assists multinational corporate clients with complex cross-border tax issues, including securing advance pricing agreements and competent authority relief from the IRS and foreign tax authorities. She focuses her practice on transfer pricing, tax planning, and structuring for domestic and international business entities.
- Tania Kazi (Rice) (San Francisco) as partner in our Litigation & Trial Practice Group. She has been a core member of seven trial and arbitration teams, with significant experience acting as second chair in high-stakes trials. She has experience defending companies in class actions and other complex litigation, with a particular focus on antitrust matters and clients in the insurance industry.
- Andrew Ligotti (New York) as partner in our Intellectual Property Litigation Group. He focuses on intellectual property litigation with an emphasis on patent and trademark disputes. He has extensive experience representing clients in federal court cases, appeals, and post-grant trials before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. His practice encompasses diverse technologies ranging from internal combustion engines to video compression codecs, including those that leverage his mechanical engineering background.
- Brittany Raway (Atlanta) as partner in our Corporate & Business Transactions Group, where she advises both public and private companies and private equity firms on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint venture investments, corporate governance matters, and domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Jay Repko (Atlanta) as partner in our Litigation & Trial Practice Group. He focuses his practice on representing manufacturers in complex commercial litigation. He has represented manufacturers and other commercial clients in a diverse range of cases, including contract, environmental, trade secret, and other high-stakes disputes. He also has significant experience representing clients in appeals and post-trial motions.
- Reade Seligmann (New York) as partner in our Litigation & Trial Practice Group, where he focuses his practice on complex business disputes and government investigations. He represents clients in a wide array of industries, including insurance, finance, real estate, talent representation, biotechnology, and digital media. He also has experience litigating a broad range of complex commercial disputes, including cases involving breach of contract, fraud, RICO, business torts, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and agency and fiduciary relationships.
- Alex Shattock (London) as partner in our Litigation & Trial Practice Group. He has over a decade of experience in financial services and commercial disputes. He has represented a range of clients including financial institutions, payments services institutions, trustees, agents, funds, corporates, life sciences businesses, and public authorities in cross-border, high-value, and complex disputes across a wide variety of sectors.
- Heather Shimer (Atlanta) as partner in our Health Care Group, where she focuses her practice on advising health care companies, medical device manufacturers, and investors with mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures. She has substantial experience advising physician practice groups and private equity acquirers in physician services transactions, specifically in the ophthalmology, orthopedic, ENT, dental, cardiology, urology, gastroenterology, behavioral health, dermatology, medical spa, home health, hospice, and urgent care spaces.
- Matt Strumph (Atlanta) as partner in our Corporate & Business Transactions Group. He represents both public and private companies in complex M&A and capital raising transactions. He also has significant experience advising public companies on SEC regulatory issues and corporate governance matters.
- Ben Wolf (Washington, D.C.) as partner in our Health Care Group, where he counsels clients in many industries regulated by the Food and Drug Administration. He has particular interest and experience in pharmaceutical drugs, medical devices, agency compliance actions, inspection-related issues, stem cell products, and tobacco products, as well as the regulation of food, beverages, animal feed, dietary supplements, and cannabis.
