Alston & Bird represented Pathstone, a New Jersey-based wealth management advisor, in its new strategic private equity investment from Kelso & Company and its additional private equity investment from Lovell Minnick Partners (LMP).
The investments from Kelso & Company and LMP are expected to close in the second quarter of 2023. The deal marks Alston & Bird’s latest collaboration with Pathstone; the firm advised on six acquisitions since 2020 and a prior investment by LMP in 2019.
