Alston & Bird has been named one of the top places to work by the Dallas Business Journal, marking the second time the firm has been featured in the publication’s annual list of the “100 Best Places to Work in North Texas.”
Recognized for cultivating employee confidence and workplace pride, Alston & Bird placed No. 10 in the survey’s medium-size business category.
Stability and future-focus emerged as critical themes of the employee survey results used to determine rankings. As noted in the Dallas Business Journal, “More than 90% of top workplace respondents, regardless of organizational size, believe their company will continue to be successful in the future.” Work-life flexibility represented another common thread among the top-ranking companies.
“Culture makes the difference between average and great firms,” said Darren Hauck, partner-in-charge of Alston & Bird’s Dallas and Fort Worth offices. “Our culture balances exceptional client service with an unwavering commitment to treating our people equitably and supporting them in all that they do.”
The ranking is the latest award to recognize Alston & Bird’s Dallas office. In October, the firm was honored by the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program with its “Silver Award for Pro Bono Service,” the fourth consecutive year the firm has been recognized for its pro bono leadership.
Now in its 19th year, the “100 Best Places to Work in North Texas” survey is conducted by the Dallas Business Journal in partnership with Quantum Workplace. This year’s rankings were based on responses from 19,000 employee surveys from 349 companies.
