Jeff Rosenfeld, Alston & Bird partner and member of the firm’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group, has been recognized among the most influential litigators and trial attorneys in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
Rosenfeld was named to the publication’s 2021 “Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys.” He joins a select group of litigators described by the journal as a “special breed of attorney that needs to transcend expert comprehension of the legal system” and who goes to the “proverbial mat to fight for their clients before judges and jury.”
Rosenfeld focuses his practice on trial and appellate litigation, with an emphasis on class actions and other complex commercial litigation. His experience includes class-action defense and high-stakes litigation in both state and federal courts, where he has an accomplished track record of defeating threatened and actual claims at every stage of litigation, including at trial. He has also negotiated settlements of numerous disputes without litigation. Recent matters include serving as lead counsel to Fairchild Semiconductor (now ON Semiconductor) at trial in a suit alleging various claims of breach of warranty, as well as lead defense counsel in significant litigation pending in Los Angeles Superior Court over payment of an alleged $25 million-plus broker’s commission in the sale of a pharmaceutical company.
This is the most recent honor earned by Rosenfeld from the Los Angeles Business Journal, which last year also recognized him as one of Los Angeles’ “Most Influential People.”
The 2021 “Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys” is based on independent research and reporting by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
