Jason Cooper, partner and co-chair of Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Practice, has been recognized in the 2017 edition of Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) Strategy 300 – The World’s Leading IP Strategists.
The annual guide identifies individuals who are leading the way in developing and delivering strategies that maximize the value of IP portfolios.
As described by the publication: “These world-class IP strategists do not see intellectual property from just one perspective; instead, they view it in the round. It is this 360-degree perspective on how IP management and value creation should align with overall business strategy that makes them stand out from the crowd.”
The IAM Strategy 300 is based on in-depth research with senior members of the global IP community across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. To be considered for the rankings, candidates must be nominated by at least three people from outside their own organization. Those who qualify are regarded by the publication as “best-in-class” when it comes to helping business and IP owners gain maximum value from their intellectual assets.
This is the latest recognition earned by Cooper. In June 2017, he was also honored as one of the world’s top patent attorneys in the Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners.
