Alston & Bird has been honored by Forbes magazine as one of the country’s top companies, the only law firm recognized by the publication in its annual listing of the best places to work.
In Forbes’ 2017 survey of “America’s Best Employers,” Alston & Bird ranks No. 198 among 250 midsized companies (1,000 to 5,000 employees) across more than 25 industries.
The survey was conducted in partnership with research firm Statista, which surveyed 30,000 American employees among large and midsized companies on their opinions of the companies for which they work. The leading factor in determining the rankings was the degree to which employees would recommended their company to friends and family. Among the factors that drove employer recommendations, the biggest influencers were work atmosphere and pride in the services or products provided by the company.
The ranking is the latest in a series of awards recognizing Alston & Bird’s special workplace culture. Other recent accolades earned by the firm include People magazine’s 2017 “50 Companies That Care” and Fortune’s 2017 “100 Best Companies to Work For®.”
