The Atlanta and New York offices of Alston & Bird are seeking multiple associates with 3-6 years of experience to join its rapidly expanding Investment Funds team. We are looking for candidates to support two distinct areas within our practice:

1. General investment management and fund formation work, including real estate funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, private credit funds, hybrid funds, and various alternative investment vehicles. Interested associates will have the opportunity to gain exposure to retail alternative funds such as BDCs, interval funds, and closed-end funds.

2. Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), including advising clients on equity and mortgage REITs, publicly traded and non-traded REITs, hybrid investment structures, and complex transactions associated with these vehicles. Candidates should have public securities (1933 and 1934 Act) experience.

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit, as these positions involve direct client interaction and offer substantial growth potential within a strategically important practice area.
