• Defending the largest U.S. retail corporation, and largest company worldwide by revenue, against claims involving alleged exposures to Proposition 65-listed chemicals.
• Defending a petroleum company facing allegations of occupational exposure to benzene.
• Counsel to an industrial company and landowner in connection with sediment contamination at a Superfund Site in Oregon.

Isaac Walrath is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources Group.

Before joining the firm, Isaac litigated a wide range of cases throughout California, including matters involving commercial contract disputes, insurance coverage, product liability, employment, construction, teledentistry, and peer-to-peer food delivery and car rental platforms. Isaac has experience managing all aspects of litigation from case inception through trial.

While earning his J.D. from the University of California Davis School of Law, Isaac externed with the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental & Natural Resources Division, assisting with defending and enforcing environmental laws as well as the California Public Utilities Commission. Isaac also served as a senior article editor for the Environs Environmental Law and Policy Journal. He earned his B.S. in environmental policy analysis and planning, with an emphasis on water quality management, and minor in economics from the University of California, Davis.
