Laura Simmons is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. Before joining the firm, Laura interned for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, Felony Major Crimes Division, and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Before law school, she worked at an aviation consulting firm where she assisted in the first privatization of a U.S. airport.
Laura earned her J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University Law School, where she served on The George Washington International Law Review and the mock trial board. Laura received a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
