Margaret “Ellie” Saathoff is an associate in the Compensation, Benefits, and ERISA Litigation Group. She focuses her practice on litigation, employee benefits, and other related matters.
Ellie earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the Duke University School of Law, where she served as president for the National Security Law Society and merchandise director for the Public Interest Law Foundation. She was also a member of Duke’s Moot Court Board. Before law school, Ellie earned her B.S. in biology from Emory University where she was also involved in the Georgia Civil Rights Cold Cases Project. As a part of this project, she contributed field work which was featured on the first season of the Buried Truths podcast. The season was awarded a Peabody Award and Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award.
