• Represented a global telecommunications equipment supplier in a seven-patent jury trial that resulted in a favorable jury verdict. TQ Delta, LLC v. CommScope Holding Co., Inc., et al., No. 2:21-cv-00310 (E.D. Tex.).
• Represented a multinational networking and telecommunications company in a patent infringement action related to 3G and 4G base station equipment and software. (E.D. Tex.).
• Represented a national telecommunications company and leader in optical communications solutions for 5G networks and data centers in multiple patent infringement actions involving distributed antenna systems (DAS) and small cell technology and prevailed on summary judgment which led to a favorable settlement. (N.D. Ca., W.D. Tex.).
• Represented a national telecommunications carrier in multiple patent infringement actions related to distributed antenna systems (DAS).  Dali Wireless v. Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless, No. 2:23-cv-00002 (E.D. Tex.); Dali Wireless v. Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless, No. 6:22-cv-00104 (W.D. Tex.).
• Represented the nation’s leader in home entertainment and home automation control technologies in multiple offensive and defensive district court litigations related to consumer electronics and software. Universal Electronics Inc. (“UEI”) v. Roku, Inc., No. 18-cv-01580 (C.D. Cal.); UEI v. Roku, Inc., No. 8-20-cv-00701 (C.D. Cal.); UEI v. • Represented a national media content provider in a patent infringement action regarding website design and development. Express Mobile, Inc. v. Oath Holdings, Inc., No. 3:20-cv-08321 (N.D. Cal.).
• Represented a global manufacturer of health and wellness supplements in an action regarding false advertising, trademark infringement, and counterfeiting. Nutramax Laboratories v. Hashtag Fulfillment LLC, No. 2:17-cv-1174 (D. Utah).
• Represented a manufacturer of folding furniture, including folding camping chairs, hammocks, and tables, in two different patent infringement actions. IP Power Holdings Limited v. Westfield Outdoor, Inc., No. 2-19-cv-01878 (D. Nev.); IP Power Holdings Limited v. Kamp-Rite Tent Cot., Inc., No. 2-19-cv-00634 (E.D. Cal.).

Katherine has focused her practice on litigating and trying complex patent cases in federal courts and before the U.S. International Trade Commission. Katherine has gained significant experience by trying cases dealing with a wide range of technologies, including telecommunications technology and equipment, water filtration, and consumer electronics. Before joining the firm, Katherine externed for the Hon. Edward J. Davila in the Northern District of California and a prosecution firm where she prosecuted software patents. 

Katherine received her J.D. from Santa Clara University, where she was an editor of the Santa Clara High Technology Law Journal and participated in honors moot court. Additionally, Katherine was a finalist in the AIPLA Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Competition, a nationwide moot court competition focused on patent litigation. Katherine received her B.S. in mechanical engineering from Loyola Marymount University.
