• Represented an online internet marketing company in patent infringement litigation and obtained a favorable settlement within 48 hours of filing suit and motion for preliminary injunction.
• Represented an automated live-streaming company and its corporate parents in a patent infringement and successfully participated in defeating plaintiff’s motion for preliminary injunctions. Asserted patents were subsequently invalidated in inter partes review proceedings.
• Represented an optoelectronic sensor company in a multimillion-dollar trade secret and breach of contract case and successfully obtained a multimillion-dollar attorneys fee award.
• Represented an aerospace communications company in trademark infringement litigation resulting in a favorable settlement.

Elliott Riches has worked on a variety of litigation matters and has ample experience researching, drafting motions, and managing written discovery for cases involving patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and breaches of contract. He also gained valuable trial preparation experience as an intern for the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. Elliott has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2023 and 2024.

Elliott earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University and was honored as a member of the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers. Before law school, Elliott earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Baylor University.
