Chandler McCrary Ray is an associate with Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. Before joining the firm, Chandler served as a law clerk to the Hon. Elizabeth L. Branch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and to the Hon. Michael P. Boggs of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Chandler earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he was a member of the ABA Moot Court Team and was awarded the John A. Cortner Championship Award in the school’s Intramural Moot Court Competition. He also received the Championship Award in the school’s Intramural Mock Trial Competition. He also served as an intern to the Hon. Stephen Louis A. Dillard of the Court of Appeals of Georgia.
Before law school, Chandler earned his B.B.A. in economics, with a minor in political science, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia. While at Georgia, Chandler was an advisor/advocate for the University Judiciary.
