Carlin O’Donnell is a senior associate in Alston & Bird’s Investment Funds Group where he represents clients on all aspects of private fund formation.
Carlin has a broad range of experience representing U.S. and non-U.S. private equity, infrastructure, venture capital, real estate and credit fund sponsors and advisers in connection with the formation, structuring, operation, and management of their investment funds. He has also advised institutional investors on the terms of their primary and secondary investments and co-investments.
Carlin earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a B.A., summa cum laude, from Fairfield University.
Carlin serves as a member of the Make-A-Wish® Metro New York Junior Board and a member of the Head of School’s Advisory Council at the Gordon School in East Providence, RI.
