Crawford Lewis is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Corporate Transactions & Securities Group. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and securities matters across a variety of industries.
Before law school, Crawford was a tax accountant at a Big Four firm, focusing on international corporate tax advisory for multinational corporations and tax compliance for ultra-high-net worth individuals and family offices. He is a licensed CPA.
Crawford received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Washington and Lee University School of Law. During law school, he was a lead articles editor for the Washington and Lee Law Review and worked as a scholars intern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Crawford received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Furman University and his M.S. in accounting from Wake Forest University.
