Deborah (Debbie) Jones is a trial attorney and commercial litigator whose clients span multiple industries. Debbie also represents clients in real estate disputes and on behalf of landlords, tenants, developers, and real estate agents in broker/agent commissions disputes, foreclosures, leasing disputes, easements, nuisance, and eminent domain. Her experience handling commercial disputes in California state and federal courts covers the gamut of issues facing businesses both pre-litigation and through trial in a wide range of matters including business operations concerns, unfair competition and consumer protection claims, unfair debt collection issues, and high-stakes environmental toxic tort actions. Debbie also has extensive mass arbitration experience regarding consumer protection and data breach related claims both with AAA and JAMS.
She has also handled employment issues involving allegations of wrongful termination based on racial, gender, and age discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. Debbie has significant experience advising about union grievances, labor disputes, franchise termination disputes, and the Petroleum Marketing Practices Act (PMPA).
Debbie is dedicated to assisting the firm’s diverse attorneys achieve their goals as an active member. She has acted as the partner in charge of the firm’s mentoring program, the senior associate coaching program for over 11 years, co-chaired the firmwide women’s initiative, and chaired the Los Angeles Diversity Committee.
