Christopher Johnson provides guidance and counseling for transactional and litigation matters involving construction projects of all sizes. Chris has experience representing owners, developers, general contractors, and subcontractors. Chris also provides guidance and representation to businesses contracting with state and federal government agencies.
Before joining the firm, Chris gained experience as an intern for the civil division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Atlanta, where he drafted briefs, motions, and subpoenas for defensive and affirmative civil litigation. He also gained experience as a Davidson Impact Fellow at the Georgia Justice Project, where he assisted with criminal defense and records representation.
While earning his J.D., cum laude, at the Duke University School of Law, Chris served as the internal vice president of the Government & Public Service Society. He earned dual B.A.s from Davidson College in political science and environmental studies.
