Skyler Green is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Financial Services Group. He focuses his practice on the banking and financial services industry and advises financial institutions on mergers and acquisitions, capital-raising activities, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
Before joining the firm, Skyler spent five years as a high school educator in Bronx, NY, where he taught literacy, government, economics, and leadership courses. He received his J.D. from Cornell Law School, where he was the managing editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy. As a 2016 AmeriCorps member, Skyler also holds a M.A. in teaching with an advanced certificate in special education from the Relay Graduate School of Education. He graduated with high honors from Georgia State University with a B.A. in political science.
