Shawn Gannon represents clients in complex intellectual property litigation matters before U.S. district courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). He represents clients involving diverse technologies including telecommunications, video coding, standard essential technologies, computer hardware/software, and mechanical devices. Shawn has been recognized for his notable performance and, for both 2023 and 2024, Patexia ranked him as one of the top 100 “best performing ITC attorneys representing complainants.”
Shawn received his J.D., with honors, from Emory University, where he served as the president of the Intellectual Property Society, competed in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, participated in the TI:GER interdisciplinary program, and was selected to the Order of Emory Advocates. Before law school, he received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Clemson University, where he rowed as a member of the Clemson University Rowing Association.
