Gillian H. Clow focuses her practice on complex litigation, including consumer class actions. She has experience in various industries, including life insurance, food and beverage, technology and retail, and cases involving claims of breach of contract, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, RICO, fraud, unfair competition, and violations of Business & Professions Code Section 17200 and other tort claims. Gillian has been engaged by online retailers to represent them in class actions and arbitrations alleging data and privacy violations. She also defends companies facing California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), California Medical Information Act (CMIA), Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA), and other privacy-related claims.
Gillian received her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Gillian served as an extern for the Hon. R. Gary Klausner of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and an editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review.
Gillian is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono and community service initiatives and is a member of the firm’s pro bono committee.
