• Represented buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate properties.
• Represented Atlanta-based regional banks in providing senior-secured acquisition and construction financing for office, retail, and multifamily projects. 
• Represented developers and REITs in the acquisition, financing, and leasing of various health care regulated facilities, including individual and portfolio assisted-living and skilled-nursing facilities.

Jennifer Bassett is a senior attorney in Alston & Bird’s Real Estate Group. Jennifer represents owners, developers, equity investors, lenders, and tenants in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of office buildings, industrial properties, retail properties, multifamily projects, health care facilities, and mixed-use assets across the U.S.

Jennifer is recognized in the 2023–2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in America^® “Ones to Watch” for her work in Real Estate Law.

Jennifer earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgia State University. Before law school, she worked as a development associate for a local Atlanta real estate developer. Jennifer also competed as an amateur boxer, winning first place at the 2003 Women’s National Golden Gloves Boxing Tournament in Chicago.
