Alston & Bird has added Nick Brocklesby as a partner in the Litigation & Trial Practice Group and member of the Financial Services Litigation Team, resident in the London office. Brocklesby advises major corporate entities, investment banks, hedge funds managers, private equity houses, and other financial institutions on commercial litigation and banking and financial services disputes.

Brocklesby joins from Reed Smith, where he has practiced since 2014.
Alston & Bird’s Financial Services Litigation Team leverages deep knowledge of the financial products, structures, and players in the financial services sector to help clients navigate disputes in federal and state courts, arbitration, and mediation. The team handles high-stakes cases involving all aspects of financial services, including regulatory compliance, consumer financial transactions, commercial lending, securitizations, and mortgage servicing. In addition, the team represents clients in investigations and enforcement actions before state and federal enforcement agencies. Attorneys bring inside perspectives from relevant regulatory agencies such as the Federal Reserve, CFPB, and OCC. Using an interdisciplinary approach, the team also collaborates closely with the firm’s finance, corporate, securitization, regulatory, and bankruptcy practices.
