Brian Frey, partner in Alston & Bird’s White Collar, Government & Internal Investigations Group, has been named a 2021 “Rising Star” by Law360. The annual award honors top legal talent under the age of 40.
Frey was honored for his comprehensive experience on both sides of white collar investigations and for thorough and innovative representation in clients’ most complex matters. Frey regularly advises clients on complex trade-related issues, assists in the development of robust compliance programs, and defends clients in bet-the-company civil and criminal investigations.
Frey’s approach to his work is informed by his time spent with the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served as a special assistant U.S. attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland; and also as a trial attorney in the Bank Integrity Unit of the Money Laundering and Asset Recovery Section.
