California has long been viewed as one of the most employee-friendly states in the country, and its maze of state and local employment laws presents an array of challenges for employers with California-based operations and employees.  Our colleagues from Alston & Bird’s Los Angeles office will join us at our last executive breakfast of the year to discuss independent contractors and the impact of the California Supreme Court’s decision in Dynamex, sexual harassment legislation at the state and local levels, and employment issues that arise from social media usage.
