Mark Kelly is a member of the Corporate & Business Transactions Group in the firm’s Charlotte office. He concentrates his practice in the areas of public offerings, private financings, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
Mark leads the firm’s private equity practice and has worked with private equity firms and their portfolio companies since the late 1980s in equity and debt financings, leveraged buyouts and exit transactions, including mergers with public companies. He has handled many private equity, LBO, venture capital and merger and acquisition transactions and has worked closely with many owners of private companies in the structuring and sale of their companies to equity sponsors, including through auctions run by investment banking firms.
Mark received his J.D. from Washington & Lee University in 1986 and his B.A., cum laude, from Hampden-Sydney College in 1983.
